MSFS 2024 compatibility

Are you ready ?

I’ve spent some time preparing my packages, and I’m not !

As a contractor, I had access to dev alpha and had the chance to evaluate my mods.

Well… Nothing will be fully compatible for launch !

I contributed with a lot of developpers to the bug hunting for 2020 packages in compatibility mod, and what we can say right now :

• there are a lot of reported bugs that have been fixed
• there are bugs that are announced to be fixed for launch
  • worst one : instruments lightning are too fade by day and are unusable (radios, gps…)
    
    
    
    
• there are bugs that will not be fixed for launch
  • material have no normal details, composite are incorrectly balanced, icing effects are terrible, fingerprints and windshield effects are too strong : that leads to very poor looking textures :'(

For the last ones, we will have to wait future updates. I hope this will be the first one !

Immediate compatibility

The following mods

• Reims Rocket
• Skyhwak bush kit
• Skyhawk taildragger

received the last updates I could work on for them to be ready. We’ll see at launch what’s missing now ;)

My sceneries have a lot of elevation and texture problems. I am not sure I’ll be able to have them compatible with MSFS2020 & 2024 at the same time.

• Alps altiports
• Colorado Ranchers Club
• North East India airports

I’m not sure what to do with them.

My 1935 sceneries rely on Redwing sceneries, so we will see what’s left in MSFS 2024 compatibility for that.

Future upgrades

I plan to work on the my C172 mods and give them MSFS2024 nice features, even though they won’t be available for (MSFS) career. We’ll see if other career systems adapt and give freeware planes a better chance !

Savannah-S will be a native MSFS 2024 aircraft, not compatible with MSFS 2020.

• Cessna 152 Banner Tow

I’ll keep maintenance on these ones for MSFS2020 simmers but nothing will be done for their MSFS2024 conversion.
